Newbie to Halogen oven and Forum

Post  Suzy on 23.01.11 14:42

Hi Everyone,

Looks like everyone is so helpful on this forum - hope to learn lots about using my new halogen oven and not to ruin too many meals. Purchase my oven yesterday - roast potatoes and lamb cutlets for dinner last night - fantastic.

Hello, I have just bought HO from Aldi,I have cooked sausage casserole
and roast pork with potatoes and veg, both dishes tasted excellent, but the timing is much longer than stated on both dishes, any tips for reducing cooking times.I was going to take this cooker back before joining the forum, everyone one seems very helpful,I'm golng to try roast beef next.

Hi no need to return your oven -just accept that cooking times are nearer fan oven cooking times and the results are well worth it Smile
I never worry about time - just how tasty the dishes are.
