Hi Carol!

I have a chocolate cake recipe, this is one of my own that I make using a loaf tin, but I feel that you could still pour it into your bundt tin and it would work! as it works perfectly well in a loaf tin! As I dont know the size of your bundt tin, I would suggest that if you had any mixture over from my recipe you could use it to make a few small buns with. Here is my recipe:

Ingredients:

4oz marg
6oz castor sugar
6oz self raising flour
1 heaped tsp baking powder
2 tsps coco powder
4 tbsp milk
2 large Eggs

Pre-heat the HO 170c

USE THE EXTENSION RING DURING COOKING

In a large mixing bowl, mix sugar and butter together, now add the eggs and beat well, gradually sift in the flour and the baking powder an mix well, in a small cup or jug pour in 4 measured tablespoons of milk, add the 2 teaspoons of coco powder and mix together until smooth, now add this to the cake mixture stirring until the coco mixture has been well mixed in.
Keep beating the mixture until it reaches the dropping consistancy that you have when it is ready to put in the tin.
Now I would have lined a 1lb loaf tin with greaseproof or parchment paper then I would have put in the mixture, Placed the tin on the top rack and cooked for 50-55 mins.
After which time I would test it with a skewer,if the skewer comes out clean and not sticky it is done if not then cook for a further 5-10 mins.
Obviously your cake cooked in a bundt should not take as long, as there is no centre to it, so I would go by the cooking times suggested by the people whom you bought the bundt off!

Hope my recipe works for you!

Best wishes, and Good Luck!

thank you Clasiechick1 for taking the time to share this recipe.

Sounds like a lovely chocolate cake. I have copied it into the recipe A-Z so that it remains easy to find.
