Hi Judith

It is difficult to give advice with casseroles due to the variation in ingredients. I am not familiar with your oven either.

On the whole, if you have an extender ring, use a casserole dish on the top rack. Make sure the dish has room around the sides for the hot air to circulate. If you don't have an extender then use the lower rack.
You did the right thing by stirring often. Temperature and time will take a little trial and error to get the right settings for your particular oven.
Sorry I can't be more specific.

i'm new to HO also and trying out a casserole tonite for first time.. seems differences of opinions on which rack to put on, I had it on the top one with spacer ring but then read to put it on bottom rack, so have now changed it.. oh well proof is in the pudding..

first dinner I did was sunday did a roast chicken, had to take the spuds out and finish in norm oven as didn't seem to be cooking in HO.. chicken was lovely tho..

will keep trying with the oven tho not giving up yet.. any sugestions or recpies gratefully received

thanks

Theresa
