timer is a downfall

Post  plendil on 05.01.11 14:24

happy new year all
have been using my oven for a few weeks now. a lot of trial and error stuff going on lol.
at the moment i see that the timer is a big no no.
if i wanted to put something on for 2 hours and go to the shop. like you would with an oven . YOU CANT. the darn thing switches off after an hour,iv been caught out a few times now. sat watching telly and havent heard it
go off after the first hour . hence food has not been cooking for a while.
anyone else been caught out yet Question

Happy New Year Plendil cheers

You are right Plendil the timer could have been designed better. But then, according to the manufacturer’s guidelines you are not supposed to leave your Halogen Oven unattended during cooking – meaning you can’t go to the shops or to the loo lol!

To stop this happening again may be you could get a cheap small timer and take it with you if you have to leave the kitchen.
Just a suggestion
Idea
