Food dripping

I have been cooking meats on the top grill and placing other things like chips on the bottom, the problem is the meat drips fat, i want to grill meat to take the fats out, also i like chips crispy and dont want them covered in fat from the meat is there a answer

Simple , cook the meat on the bottom rack and the chips on the top rack

The name is after a group from the 80s, who are still going now, thanks for the answer, but i have done that and found the chips burnt on top and further down the chips didnt cook enough, also if you put the meat down the bottom you are not grilling the meat.

OK next solutions still cooking as you normally do:

1 Cover the chips with foil

2 Place the meat on a low rack, then place the low rack on a tray (you need to but extra racks and trays)

3 Cook them separately but that means you have to wait a long time before you can eat
