1 Plaice Fillet
Garlic Powder
Lemon Juice
Black Pepper
Parsley

Brush side of Plaice with lemon juice and sprinkle very lightly with garlic powder and freshly ground black pepper. Sprinkle over some parsley. Turn over and repeat on other side.

Place fish on foil and close up. Put on higher rack in oven and bake at 200C/400F for 12 to 15 minutes, until fish is done. Good served with boiled potatoes and peas

Thanks John. Smile I only recieved my HO friday. The first thing I cooked was a roast chicken. It turned out perfect. Thanks to all the tips I learned from this site. I did lots of homework the last couple of weeks, while waiting for the HO to arrive.

Baked Salmon

Post  frizzy on 15.07.12 15:43

BAKED SALMON
Put salmon in see through cooking bags with a little squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper and a coating of butter. Seal well and cook for approx. 15 mins on a cooking tray; bottom rack. It depends on the thickness of fish of course, but you can see through the bags as to whether they are cooked or not. I like the tail end of salmon, no bones and a lot meatier (if you know what I mean!!). Scrummy, I will never cook them in any other way.
