Casserole

Hello all,
I'm a newbie to this site and to halogen cooking. HELP!

When cooking a casserole in a Pyrex dish do I leave the lid on or off and do I put it on the top rack or bottom rack? Also do I use the spacer ring?

Hi and welcome tackjar welcome

Try to think of your HO as a small and efficient oven and you won't go far wrong. If you use a lid in your 'big' oven, then use one in the HO.
Members all have their own way of doing things and trial and error can be an essential part of the learning process. Ovens do vary a bit.
I find that the heat does circulate better using the top rack and I would use the extender ring too.

If it wasn't for this site and sites like it there would be a smog of burnt offerings throughout halogen land.
