mince pies

Can one use a metal container in a halogen oven?

I tried making mince pies in the halogen rather than the usual oven. Same mix, pastry etc They cooked, but went floppy originally as there was nothing to support the pastry shape. This was my first try with the oven. Won't be the last.

Hi hungry Alan,

Yes you can use metal containers, anything you would normally use in a normal oven works also in halogen, just don,t use microwave dishes .

Best wishes toots Very Happy
