Choux Pastry

Has anyone attempted, successfully, making cream puffs/eclairs/choux puffs in the HO? Wud appreciate any help!!

Hi Cooka

It's not something that I have tried but I have a recipe for puff pastry horns in my HO book and the principal should be much the same.

Preheat oven to 210C, put pastry on a tray on the low rack, use extender ring if you have one, cook for 15-20 minutes till puffed and golden, turn the pastry over carefully and cook for another 5 minutes to brown the bottom - remove and allow to cool before filling.
