Hi

Your HO isn't a deep fat fryer so the short answer is no. Chips can be done dipped or sprayed in oil but they are not chip shop but basically oven chips. Fish shop style frozen fish can also be cooked in your oven.

Just think of your HO as a small and efficient mini-oven - not a frier - not a microwave and you'll get there with a bit of trial and error.

I've already tried brand name oven chips and they work fine with a light oil spray. When almost cooked leave them low in the oven and cook frozen battered fish on a higher rack. Once the fish is cooked just dish up and Hey Presto!

Not quite chip shop but I've not had any complaints. feedme
