What are the "points"

Post  jose342 on 06.11.10 21:02

Hi Junie, I introduced myself with the Parmesan chicken recipe, guess I should have done it here, not to worry. I was wondering what the points are for, at the side of posting?. Also can I say thank you for all the posts I have read, I have found them helpful and informative. I have found if you are in a hurry and turn the oven up a few degrees, it cooks your meal much faster, and up to now, all the results are good, not overdone etc. Happy cooking everyone. Jose342 cool

Hi Jose342

I'm glad that you have found the posts helpful and informative. Turning the oven up a few degrees is OK with dishes that have a shorter cooking time but for items taking longer to cook you do have to be careful not to overcook the top before the bottom gets cooked.

I'll move this to the Q&A section in case anyone else is wondering.

Hi jose342
about the points:
everypost you make /answer gives you 1 point
every subject/topic you start gives you 3 points

How to say THANK YOU :
When someone has posted something that you have found useful, you may show your appreciation by thanking the poster.

There are 3 ways you can do that

1. Reply to their post and write something

2. Reply to their post with a “thank you smiley”

3. Click on the plus sign on the right side of their post to give a thank you +
