Guess what another Hallogen Oven Virgin.

Post  TickleBumbly on 10.09.10 11:02

Hi,
Yes I've just got it out off the box and it's sitting proudly in my kitchen, next to the toaster. After glancing at the instruction leaflet yesterday, I decided to search the web for advice and recipes which lead me here and so I joined, and I'm so glad I did.

Anyway I'm a 55 year old mum with a 12 year old daughter who has Autism, a patient husband who never complains, and always gives me lots of hugs, and will eat almost anything put in front of him, as long as it doesn't contain cheese.

I'm now off to search the favourite recipes to pick out one for my first attempt. Wish me luck.

Nicki

Thanks for the welcome and I'm going to stay in touch, after all whats the point in joining if not to take part.

Still haven't tried anything yet. Yes I know I'm a wimp but I'm not the world's best cook (any one remember Ria in 'Butterflies') That should give you the general idea of my cooking abilities.

So I've sent off for the Norma Miller cookbook. and I may try cheese on toast tomorrow.

Nicki

Hi Nicki

Ria was very entertaining and I remember her well. I'm sure we'd all like to hear of your Ria experiences along with your successes.

Good Luck
