hi folks/ has anyone cooked belly of pork in one piece not rashers Question this will be my first time using my HO What a Face

tried this but wasn't too succesful, I didn't make sure the skin was level in the oven.This made the crackling uneven and burned on one end. will still try again as I think this isn a good cheap joint

How I normally cook this is I score the skin very fine.I then rub equall amonts of Cinese 5 spice and salt well in all over,Then cook the belly on as high as you can for approx 15-20 mins then turn down to about 190c and cook for about 2 hours.I puts the belly on a wire rack with a big bowl of water underneath,make sure the water doesnt go dry.I am having my first go with this in my HALLY right now,the oven seems to be a good idea but the cooking guidline i received with mine was a load of crap

Whole piece of belly pork cooked in the HO till nice and crispy with soft tender flesh sounds FAB. 7up thank you for the idea. I'm definately going to give this a try.
