Hi Margaretann

You can put the veg straight in to the steamer, but would need to place a dish of your choice of either boiling water/stock/juices/wine and herbs underneath to generate the steam to keep them moist while cooking.

Hope this helps

Hi Margaretann Crying or Very sad

I don't have a steamer tray for my HO. If I was trying this, I would start with a temperature of 180C and try 5-10 mins for small quantities of soft veg increasing the time for larger quantities and harder veg.

If anyone else has done this and can give a more specific answer, please help. please
