Hello everyone
I`m Jenny and 59 years young - and have just bought a halogen oven hoping to cook all those delicious meals in a fraction of the time! Am a bit nervous about cooking whole dinners and when to add other things to the pot to get the whole meal cooked at the same time. Have only cooked a roast chicken in mine at the moment - it was great - took just under an hour against 2 hours in the normal oven. Also how do you work out the cooking times for various things - I`m grat one for just throwing ingredients into a pot and taking a chance on what comes out in the end!

Hi Jenny and welcome

Welcome

Well done with the chicken.

Timings can be a bit of trial and error and keeping a note of what you have done for future reference. This forum exists because the manufacturers don't supply comprehensive cooking instructions.

When you have some time, have a read of some of the other posts and recipes for tips and advice. The search function is useful for specific topics too.

If you can't find an answer just ask in the question and answer section and someone will try to help.

I'm sure you'll soon be cooking with confidence.

Good Luck
