i phoned them this morning as thermostat has packed up on my H O.
Sending out a new lid today should arrive in a few days plus a post paid label to return broken lid, if this comes off then i have to say the customer service is brilliant.

I agree Lin, that's excellent customer service.

They have even changed their policy. When this happened to my HO, I didn't get a new lid - they repaired the broken one and sent it back.
I was without my halogen for 3 weeks. Sad

I wouldn't have been able to manage- mines got a wonky fan, which after coming up for 2 years of being used pretty much daily (And often more than once a day) I can't complain about but rather than send it back as it's still under guarantee I'd have to buy a new one as I'd end up spending far more on takeaways etc whilst it was being fixed than the cost of a new onw

i can`t believe it new lid arrived and it also has a fault that`s tripping out the electric in the house.
Straight on the phone and ended up talking to what seemed like a trainee who did`nt seem to know anything about H O`s and wanted me to return the whole thing plus the second lid getting frustrated trying to explain ended up asking to speak to a supervisor, got the girl i spoke to on monday and she`s sending another lid hopefully arriving friday.
Less than a week without it and wondering how i got on before i had one
