I'm 54, a writer and college professor, single with two grown daughters and a pack of much-loved grandchildren. I spend half the week teaching at a university four hours away from home, and the other half at our family farm, looking out after my 81-year-old dad. He was so excited when the oven came, he unpacked it and had it ready on the counter top. I didn't have the heart to tell him I didn't know what to do with it yet! I immediately tried our favorite cornbread, but had to finish it off in the oven. At least it wasn't a total disaster.
So, I've been spending today searching the Internet and I've found this spot. I am so happy to be here!
