Nervous about messing my beef joint up

Post  Nette1982 on 14.11.14 12:47

Hi Everyone

I am hoping to cook a silverside beef joint in my Halogen Oven tonight but I don't want to mess it up as my husband spent quite a bit on the meat. I have opted to do mash potato instead of roast so I can concentrate on the beef. It weighs roughly 1lb 28 or 532g. Not sure where to start on timings can anyone please help or advise me please.

Thank you in advance

Nette

Hi Nette,

in case no one post a reply before dinner time, please read this post here http://halogenovenrecipes.forumotion.com/t247-beef-roast-beef#790

There are other posts on this topic. Just type in beef joint in the search box to find them.

Happy cooking

I find loose foil wrapped around the joint helps and also I turn it over half way through to make sure the top doesn't burn
