Hi everyone, tried this recipe today in my HO turned out brilliant, thought i'd share it with you all, haven't used pastry as my husband isn't keen on it you can use a pastry base if you want but just as filling without, also i've used cooked ham but you can use any other filling.
recipe
3large eggs 1 large tomato sliced
150-200 grm cottage cheese
120grm cooked ham
1 small onion chopped
grated cheese for topping
mix eggs, cottage cheese, ham, onion, together in a bowl, put mix into a casserole dish, place sliced tomato on top of the mix top off with the grated cheese, bake in HO 170C for 20 mins low rack when brown cover and cook for another 15 mins test with a knife or skewer to check inside is set, allow to cool before removing.hope you try and enjoy. Hi Lin

I tried this yesterday (I left out the ham as I love ham on it's own but am not keen on it incorporated in other dishes.)
It took a bit longer in my 7 litre HO but tasted wonderful, thanks

Hi Lin,
Thanks for this, my husband had throat cancer and cannot eat pastry etc. I make quiches by rubbing butter inside the tin & coating it thinly with very, very fine bread crumbs(almost powder really) instead of pastry. Have never thought of cooking this in the halogen before though. Many thanks Smile
