chicken disaster

Post  kazzie on 02.01.14 19:48

Hey guys i am new here and new to halogen , i realise that i have a lot to learn and so to make it easy on myself tonight i went by the booklet instructions on cooking a chicken .
Selected the same weight as given by example booklet suggested 190 degrees for 60 mins plus possible extra 10 mins if needed .... well after 2 hours i thought it was cooked enough and it still wasn't in the middle , i was just able to use a few slices from the top breast ....i thought this was supposed to be much quicker than conventional oven , any advice most welcome thankyou
