Hello ,I'm June from South Wales.
I have a sparkling new Halogen Oven sitting on my worktop and I haven't a clue how to use it.
Hoping with the help of this forum I will soon be able to use it.javascript:emoticonp('Very Happy')

Hi June,

I have had my HO for 3 weeks now and I have used it almost daily I haven't used my big oven since!! its great it was trial and error at first (I only found this site today) all I did was use a similar temperature to what i would use in my big oven but reduce the cooking time and just keep testing! the only thing I have been disappointed with was toast!! bounce
so get experimenting!! good luck

Hi June,

I cant even remember what made me buy my "little" Halogen oven - its only 7 litres but even so, since I got it - even though I cant do a full meal in it, I have not used my main oven since I got it. Its great and easy to clean, and unlike my main oven, it doesn't smoke. I've cleaned my main oven thoroughly and it still smoked last time I used it, but none of that with the HO.

I've had some fun learning to use it, like the other members, we are all learning together and there are some great recipes to try out too.

Happy cooking Very Happy
