Smoked Haddock in Creamy Sauce in HO?

Post  Lynda788 on 01.06.13 16:59

My first post Very Happy Very Happy

I had a HO since January which I bought in Aldi... it's continually tripping the electric so have been granted a refund under warranty.

I bought a new Cookworks digital HO today in Argos and am all enthused again.

Now, I'm not sure this will work but does anybody have a recipe?

I usually do frozen smoked haddock baked in the oven for ten minutes then return it for 10 minutes with cream (mixed with curry powder) added to the juices to reduce. I serve with baked potato mash with cheddar and peas.

I've got the spuds in the HO but not sure how to proceed with the Smoked Haddock, it's frozen haddock and this is a fall back easy dinner for us normally. I'm a little concerned that the HO will fry the top and dry the sauce before it's had a chance to reduce? Any thoughts appreciated sunny

Thank you for this first post Lynda.
This is where a bit of experimenting is needed. I have cooked frozen haddock but not with sauce. Try these ideas Lynda:
Use your extender ring
Wrapped in foil

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I was hoping /giving others a chance to participate . . . Exclamation
