A very interesting piece of info there Peter.

I myself haven't bought any ready meals since the Halogen oven was bought (almost a month now).

I see you're in Brighton. I'll be taking my labrador to the beach later this month as a birthday treat.

Chef I tried heating up an ovenready meal but wasn't too pleased with the result, as the black plastic container became very soft. Better to transfer the meal onto a pyrax dish/ovenware dish before heating up. Watch cooking time too.

Hi There thanks for the info i was assured by Oakhouse Foods it was quite normal for the trays to soften and they do return back to normal very quickly after reheating.Did you cover the meal after moving it to a pyrex dish please? as with all the ready meals i have you leave the film cover on and just pierce the film
Kind Regards Peter.PS I reduce the temp instead of time when reheating ready meals eg 200`c to 170`c with a good result Very Happy
