scones came out pale on bottom

Post  sophie1126 on 06.01.13 3:05

I just made some scones and they looked great on the top and but the bottoms were pale and a bit soggy. I had sprayed Pam on the pan before I put the scones. Was that a mistake?or should i have used the pan used for steaming to put the scones on it instead of the solid one? Today was my first attempt at using the Halogen cooker so am looking for tips... thanks
