popadums in the halogen

Post  bobles on 09.12.12 13:25

i found that you can cook popadums in the halogen and they taste great . buy uncooked popadums from any supermarket i find cooking them one at a time the best way .
method turn the halogen to 250c pre heat is best.
smear a bit of sunflower oil or any oil of your choice .
place one at a time on the raised rack no expander ring .
keep an eye on it soon expand and cook i usually find it will start to float a bit when cooked best to try your own way to tell when cooked

they are not so oily smear both sides of the popadum .they are more crunchy than fried ones and dont need to be dried off in the oven
