Using Oil or Lard?

Post  cabelloman on 17.06.12 22:55

Hi

Can someone please tell me if it is safe to use oil or lard to assist with my cooking, or is it something that is not required with a Halogen oven?

The reason I ask this question is because I see people say 'Roast', is that in a conventional way, or is it different in a Halogen oven?

Your HO is just a mini version of your 'big oven'. Cooking is done the same way as in your conventional oven. Yes it's safe to use oil or lard.

You can also have healthier dinners by placing the meat, burgers, sausages, etc... on the rack and let the fat drip through.
