Hi all, halogen noob here

Post  ChiefTony on 30.05.12 16:06

Hi just bought my first Halogen a Flavour Wave Turbo(The one with Mr T on the box) havent used it yet it came with stand, fying and steaming pans, lid holder, extender ring, tongs, skewers low and high racks and a bread rack

The instruction book is VERY basic with only 2 recipies Lobser and Crispy chicken, any tips and hints on how to use and cook with it best will be very helpful, are there any usefull books that are recomended, or is this place all I need

Welcome to the forum ChiefTony

It's best to read the posts in this forum for all the tips and hints, but if you can't find what you need just ask - we'll do our best to help you.

To start you don't need to buy any books. Use the recipes available here as well as the other manuals (with recipes)

We are happy to see you on board ChiefTony

Thanks Reeta, tested it out with some Chicken thighs, 25 Minites at 200C was surprised to see clear juices when I tested for doneness, they came out moist skin could have been a bit more crispy but was over the moon with the first result
