Yesterday a replacement Electric Frypan, with a Halogen Oven thrown in to sweeten the deal.
Now I'm a complete Newbie with this oven, the model is GVC, but they seem to look exactly like every other model I've seen with the same knobs, switches and accessories, I would not be surprised they all come from the one factory.
I'm glad I've found the Halogen Oven Forum, looks great, lots of good recipes and advice, and nice people.
looking forward in doing some roast pork in the next few days, and later on bread and butter pudding.

Have family in Point Cook and try to visit every year.
Love to read Oz recipes and picked up the Tried and True recipe book compiled by The Benala & District Hospital Auxiliary, but some of the ingredients are unknown to me! eg, what are Sao biscuits?
(Loved the lemonade scones. Must try them in the Halogen.)
Have you any Aussie recipes for the Halogen?
