My name is Cindy and I live in Cheshire UK. From today I am the proud owner of a Halogen Oven. Sadly there was no cook book with it, so thought I would search the net and I found you lovely people. I feel a lot better now there is someone to help and give me advice on my new venture. I haven't cooked for quite a while as my partner died and to be honest I can't really be bothered to cook for myself. My sister has a Halogen Oven and when I saw her use it I was immediately hooked. What a wonderful idea to cook everything for your meal together and save money. It tasted wonderful as well. So I am really looking forward to meeting new people with the same interest and hopefully get some fab recipes and ideas.

I hope you will get as much pleasure out of your HO as I have.
It is hit and misses learning to cook in, I have found this a challenge and it has given me a new interest in cooking and adapting my old recipes to it.
I even make my own bread now, it is amazing what you can get out of 1 batch of bread dough, I use half the dough for a small loaf of bread the other half to make jam doughnuts or vegiemite and cheese scrolls or mini pizza, bread rolls etc.
I have made some of the recipes on the site with great success, after learning conversions of cup etc, as our measurements are different.
