sunday lunch

Post  carolleb on 25.03.12 20:24

today I made my first sunday lunch, this is what I did, I first cooked for 5 mins in the microwave some sweet potatoes, I had done the chicken first earlier, put it upside down in a dish and some foil the last twenty mins took the foil off it was perfect. Now the problem I did have was broccolli and cauliflower, I put them in some foil with some water but put them in the bottom on the rack, needless to say when everything else was ready, they were not cooked at all, so could not have any. I dont know why, Help lol

Hi Carol,
heat can't get to the bottom rack if there is a tray of food on top.

If you have enough space on the top rack, it's best to arrange your foil/veggies there. If not, cook them on the top rack, then move them to the bottom rack to keep them warm. Proceed with cooking the rest of your dinner on the top rack as you did before.

Hope this helps
