Hello from a new member

Post  junie on 24.02.10 15:58

Hi all,
I have just ordered my first halogen oven and eagerly await it's arrival. It is a 7 litre Elgenza model with an extension ring to increase capacity to 11 litres. It was £27.99 on E=bay which I think is a real bargain.
I chose the smaller oven as my intention is to use it in my touring caravan, as well as at home. My hubby and I both love cooking and can't wait to experiment.
I have had a look around this forum and am impressed with the information found here. ( I didn't manage to find much on other web pages.)
I'll let you know how we get on,
Happy Cooking

That's why we are the Halogeniuses bounce

Welcome to the forum Junie

Yes that is a bargain. There are more online shops selling them now and if you shop around you can get a good deal.

Hi, thanks for the welcome.
My new oven has arrived and I can't wait to experiment with it. It's certainly large enough for the 2 of us and to take in the caravan. The model is Elgento (not Elgenza) just to clear up any confusion - sorry.
I'll let you know how the cooking goes. Very Happy
