Hi Everyone

Post  glyn white on 13.02.10 7:43

So glad to have found this Forum. Like everyone else, have been experimenting and finding out the hard way. Two chickens so far on varying temps and timings, with the second turned.

Jacket potaties had to be finished in micro, but know better now.

The joy of experimenting, but may have to let the wife use it soon.

Hi Glyn,

Welcome to our forum, Its a bit of fun and games cooking in the Halogen, and, if you're like me, you enjoy experimenting with things. One of my favourites to do - which was actually a mistake is what I remember as French toast - where its completely dried out and not really browned. I successfully mastered this mistake when I was trying to do toast Wink

When I do that I can then use it for things like bacon and egg sarnies or anything thats a bit runny cos it soaks up the juices

Hope you enjoy your Halogen Oven and have fun - thats the main thing
