Cook in sauces

Hi

In the past I have used Lloyd Grosman, Patek etc. sauces in the slow cooker. Usually I use chicken thighs, cubed lamb or beef. If I use these in the HO do I need go heat up the sauce first, I assume I would cook it in a casserole dish on low rack. Would I use the ER.

Again any assistance gratefully appreciated.

Hi Liz,
follow the instruction given on the jar for cooking in the fan oven.

Place your dish on the low rack. No extender ring. You can cover the dish with foil only if you have too. Give it a stir every now and then.

I made a curry using a Pataks curry, i sealed the chicken, onions, and mushrooms on the top of my cooker, then just put the lot in a casserole dish, then followed a recipe for a casserole in my HO book, easy peasy...
Now onto something harder.. Shocked
