Looking for a Hinged Lid Halogen

Post  Evenstar on 22.02.12 21:32

Hi I currently have a Wolf Haolgen which lives on my boat. As I don't get to practice with it as much as i'd like, my husband said he's buy me one to use at home for my birthday. coolsmiley

I explained i'd really like one with a hinged lid to use at home, so he set about searching and came up with the Flavorwave Platinum. Perfect he thought (and so did I). Unfortunately he has not been able to find this model in stock anywhere so a month on from my birthday i'm still waiting. Sad

Does anyone know anywhere that has these in stock? Or could anyone come up with a suitable alternative?

I'd really like to start testing out the recipe book my daugther bought me. free-happy-smileys-9

Hi Evenstar

Here is the reply from thanedirect who were suppliers of the Flavorwave Platinum. Sorry I know it's not what you want to hear Crying or Very sad

"Thank you for your e-mail.

Unfortunatelly it does not seem likely that the Flavorwave will be available in the foreseeable future. I hope this is not too dissapointing.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Best Regards,

Jofre

Good price deniser

£33 with a 2 year warranty - just under £40 with the shipping. It appears to be the same seller that's on Amazon too !!!

I did have a good look around before purchasing and I am very very happy with this model. He does sell them at buy it now for £49.99 but looking at his completed listings I knew with the cost of postage I could get it cheaper from him by waiting and bidding. It has been used daily since it arrived. Roast again tonight to0.
