I have just joined the forum and thank heavens I have found it.
I have had my oven for a few months but not used if very much yet. The instruction manual is not very good. I do know the oven cooks gamnon steaks beautifully. I am now going to order a couple recipe books.
One thing I do not understand, and the instruction manual does not explain is, when do I use the extender ring. Should it be used with all cooking in the oven?
I am sure I will be spending lots of time studying the posts on the forum.

The mainly useless manuals are why this forum exists. I always use the extender ring when using the high rack. I also use the high rack whenever I can as the hot air circulates underneath much better than it can on the low rack.
You do need to use the low rack for roasts but they need to be turned over to cook them through properly.

we are glad you have found us.
Be careful when buying recipe books. There are 3 halogen oven recipe books that are the same - all same recipes
1. The Halogen Oven Secret
2. The Halogen Oven Cookbook
3. New Andrew James Halogen Oven Cookbook
