Cheesy crumpets

Post  Teresah on 04.02.12 9:39

Try crumpets in the oven, they cook far better than in the toaster. High rack 230 for a few minutes, no need to turn. Remove from oven, spread with a little butter, and top with cheese. Back in the oven for a minute to melt the cheese.
Amazing...

Ive only had this oven a week, but already Im totally hooked on it, and havent used my ordinary oven at all this week. Steak/pork chops cook better, and chicken turned out perfect. Tried a basic sponge cake today, which I didnt really expect to work, but it did.
I bought a couple of recipe books, but havent used either, as the recipes and tips on this site are giving me all the help I need.
thank you
