I'm quite new too! I think it depends what you are cooking really, I cooked roast chicken on bottom rack and popped spuds around it, and carrots in little foil parcle by them, seemed to work. One of the admins will know best!
But welcome

Welcome crazykayos

MummyBabs is right in saying that it very much depends what you are cooking.

There's lots of info already on here - just use the search box to find how to cook something specific. You may also consider a cookbook to help you. You can look inside most before you buy at Amazon.

Reeta has also posted a free recipe book to download here -

Ive just had my hamlyn 200 bookcome, but I'm really not impressed by it. Seems more for the beginer cook as in very basic dishes etc.
June is there a section on here for rating books? That would be good.
My mum ( EUNICEJOYCE) bought me jennie shapters cooking in a HO really lovely recipes, tht so far seem to work!

Hi MummyBabs

That sounds like a good idea. There have been a few posts recently about recipes from books that didn't work.It could be useful to group these together. What do you think Reeta Question

(You can leave a review on Amazon even if you didn't buy it there. I think most people read those before buying them.)

I think it's a good idea too June but I wonder how many members would actually contribute, write a review ?

MummyBabs if you would like to write something about Jennie Shapter's Cooking in a Halogen Oven, I can set it up. Question
