I recently purchased a Halogen Oven, as with this recession we have to economise with fuel costs. I am disposing of my normal electric oven to a friend.
Two years ago I scrapped our propane central heating and went all electric. This has saved 1/3 of our fuel costs in the last two years (which was about the same cost for converting, so it's a profit from now on).
I am now trying to get to grips with the halogen oven and the changed times and temperatures for cooking.
