T-bone rib roast.

Post  philbox on 26.12.11 9:47

Hi,
I have a rib roast,(T-bone end) 5lbs in weight.
I don't really know where to start..
Oven temp.. timing.. etc.
It was an expensive cut so I would LOVE not to ruin it. However, I'm desperate to try it in my new acquisition!

Thanks for any help.

Phil.

Hi Phil

Here is a link to my roast beef recipe for a 2.5 kilo topside which should help.

If you type 'roast beef' into the search box you will find other posts on the subject too.

Good Luck

Thanks very much June,
I chickened out finally and am doing it in the conventional oven..
I'm doing the spuds and brussel sprout gratin in the HO though.
I'll keep the link for the next time!

All the best,

Phil.
