Hi All

I have just joined this forum. I have had my Halogen oven for about a year and Love it! I was about to buy a dehydrator when I saw something about using the halogen oven for this. Does anyone have any idea how to do it? Thanks Very Happy

Welcome Jenni

Although this is technically possible it'd be easier on the hob in my opinion - although if anyone knows better......

You can't pour boiling water into the cold bowl and starting out with cold water would take forever to boil (no heat circulates underneath anything placed directly in the bowl).
If your beef will fit inside a casserole dish stood on a rack inside your oven, you could manage it. It would cook in a similar amount of time as it would on your hob. Type 'beef' into the search and look at the casserole recipes for guidance.
On the other hand beef roasts beautifully in your HO - you'll see the recipes there too.
