I don't know what others do but I can tell you how I do them.
Water in bottom of HO
Low rack
if you have a steaming plate put pots on there
I cover with foil, top only, and sit this on the rack
Temp and time are dependant on both size and type of pots
For instance I cooked Marlyn's yesterday at 200 for 15 mins.
So I'd say try at 200 just keep an eye on them.
I put a sprig of fresh mint in with them, lovely.
Make sure your water doesn't boil dry.

Hope this helps, I'm sure someone has other ways too.

Regards Caz
(who at the moment is melting in a kitchen!)

Hiya, complete newbie here. What if i do not have steamer plate? Will ordinary steamer tin do? Also how much water?? Does it come above the rack? I guess that would take way the steamer bit?? Cheers, Lisa

Lisa I put water to just below rack.
If you have a regular oven steamer that works too, I have one
and have used it in my HO. You can also wrap them like
A parcel in foil water in bottom to rack and pop
them onto the rack.
Just watch the water.
Hope this helps

Hi

If you don't have a steamer tray, you can cover a rack with foil and pierce holes in it.
