I am Paol. I am an Anglo/Amerindian living in Southampton. As we do a lot of camping as well as cooking at home, we have just acquired our first halogen oven, but the bits of bumph that came with it are next to useless, when finding out how to use it!
While Googling, I found this lovely forum and dived in! I shall be a total nuisance, asking lots of questions and cooking up a storm!
I am an administrator on a great camping forum and many of our members use halogen ovens whilst camping, so expect an influx of new members soon!
My first question is: Do I make a casserole in the ovens main body, or do I put it in another dish on the rack?
I look forward to any help I can get here..... Thanks!

It is advisable to use a casserole dish and place it on the low rack. The reason for this: you need hot air to flow around the food.
It is a good idea to read the previous posts in the Tips & Advice, and Q & A sections when you have the time.
We don't mind you being a nuisance if it will help you to make the most of your Halogen Oven
