New to Forum too

Post  nenp on 14.03.11 12:28

Hi Everyone,
I am so glad that I found this forum. I am English speaking but live in France. I bought a Quigg Halogen Oven with very few recipes. It has no extension ring, so can I bake cakes using a silicone cake ring on the lowest rack?

Hello and Welcome to the forum nenp you've come to the right place
for tips and advice some one is normally able to help or point in the right direction. As to your query yes you can, the extension ring just helps to reduce to over browning of the top, you can use any cake tin that you would use in a normal oven so long as it fits, just be aware that you may need to cover cake with tin foil to stop over cooking of the top hope this helps, try to read some of the other topics posted here they may help Very Happy
