Following a recipe received by e-mail

Post  gadgetgran on 01.03.11 18:19

I received an email with the following recipe last week. The only thing I changed was the korma paste to Rogan Josh Paste I also made a mushroom sauce to go with it. It was absolutely delicious and looked good enough to be served at any top restaurant. I really love my HO.

2 Chicken breasts, cut to open out.
Korma paste
4 slices lean ham
Thinly sliced mushrooms

Brush Korma Paste over one side of each chicken breast
Fill with sliced mushrooms
Place onto 2 slices of ham overlapped; then roll till encased in ham
Put roll into tin foil
Put more sliced mushrooms around roll and a small pat of butter
Fold all edges of foil into a sealed wrap

Put onto tray
Bake in halogen
heat 175 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serve with bed or rice or any accompaniment

Hi Gadgetgran

thank you

This sounds delicious. I've copied it to the recipe A-Z so that members can easily find it. I had to give it a name to post it so I've called it Curried Chicken, Ham and Mushroom Wrap. If you would prefer it called something different I can change it for you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share this with us.

The name you choose sound good June, I have it saved on my computer. I am keeping my eye on my emails for more meals to try. I do also look through the recipes on the forum. I have found my HO brilliant for simple things as well, like: garlic bread which only takes 6 minutes, its so much more economical than the large traditional oven

Yes, Gadgetgran, it is so economical to use. Mine is on nearly everyday - if I'm not cooking in it, I warm my plates in it.
I'm glad you are enjoying getting to know yours. Very Happy

Hi gadgetgran,
Thanks for sharing this recipe, I forgot to buy the ham so I adapted it a little and I used smoked streaky bacon instead, and opened the foil for the last 10 mins to crisp the bacon mmmmmmmm
keep the recipes coming. Very Happy
